Did you know that the national game of Argentina is called pato? It's a sport that combines elements of polo and basketball. Two teams of four players ride around with long baskets with handles...trying to get the ball into the hoop at the end of the field...But, that's not all!
"Pato" is the Spanish word for duck. And, in the game's early versions...going all the way back to the 17th century, ducks were used as the game ball! Thankfully, that tradition was changed and a real ball is used in the modern game.
